Missouri City, TX – July 14, 2018 – Divine Savior Academy celebrated the grand opening of its newest campus in Sienna Plantation on Saturday, July 14. A ribbon cutting took place at 3pm in the school’s entryway, followed by a reception with light refreshments. Missouri City Mayor Allen Owen, members of the school’s council, as well as the administration, faculty, staff and families of Divine Savior attended this much-anticipated event.

Divine Savior Academy operates a network of schools that serves students in preschool, elementary, middle, and high school on its four campuses in South Florida and Texas. DSA’s network is part of one of the largest private school systems in the United States, one that has operated highly-regarded schools for over 150 years. Divine Savior’s mission is to provide their students and families with supportive teachers, college-prep academics, and a Christian environment.

Working as a multi-site system has allowed Divine Savior to develop excellence in systems, curriculum, and teacher training and development in order to support their schools in its mission. As a result, graduates of Divine Savior Academy have been accepted to Ivy League schools like Cornell, Brown, and UPENN, as well as prestigious colleges like MIT, Baylor, Texas A&M, and Georgetown.

Divine Savior’s campus in Sienna Plantation will serve students in preschool (three- and four-year-olds) through eighth grade. This campus joined the DSA family last spring, undergoing a complete renovation this summer before its grand opening celebration on July 14. Previously, the school operated as Sienna Lutheran Academy. This campus, which opened in 2012, is known for its personalized attention and a loving, supportive staff of teachers and administrators.

Principal Patrick Cortright, M.Ed, comments:

“We are excited about this partnership and are confident that it will bring the families of our community excellence in education in the same loving, supportive Christian environment that we have cultivated here on our campus.”

Located in Doral, Divine Savior Academy provides PreK-3 – 12th grade students with college prep academics in a Christian environment. To schedule a private tour of the school, visit www.divinesavioracademy.com.
