Helping Hands: A Message from DSA School Counselor Monica Sanchez

Helping Hands is a year-long activity we will be doing with your children to reinforce our school year theme verse:

???There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord??? (1 Corinthians 12:5).

When our teachers see a student serving another student, teacher, or member of the DSA family, that student will receive a ???helping hand.??? A ???helping hand??? is a small paper hand with your student???s name written on it. These hands will go up in the hallways of DSA, and as the year progresses we hope to fill the halls with a giant chain of hands!

Talk to your children about this program and encourage them to think of ways that they can put into practice the words of our school theme verse. If you have any questions, please don???t hesitate to contact me.
