Winterfest 2013 was a very merry day!
The DSA family came together last Saturday, December 14 to celebrate the Christmas season with a day of fun, yummy treats, and a little shopping, too.
In DSA???s backyard, bouncy houses ringed the playing field, as well as tables and concessions from DSA, Chick-fil-A, and Anthony???s Coal Fired PIzza. Children and adults played, ate and reconnected under sunny skies and pleasant breezes.
Inside the gymnasium, more bouncy houses were busy with little jumpers and several tables of activities were set up. The Student Council table painted faces and applied temporary tattoos, while the DSA Relay for Life table had gingerbread houses available to decorate (and eat!).
In the festively-decorated auditorium, a bazaar of vendors gathered to sell a variety of items, from jewelry to yoga sessions to Scrip gift cards (regular gift cards with a bonus???part of the proceeds go to DSA!). On the stage, a photo booth was going all day, snapping silly Christmas photos of Winterfest participants.
Many, many thanks to our faithful PTO, generous families, tireless teachers, and happy-to-serve students???Winterfest 2013 was a success! Check out pictures of all the fun at our Facebook page!
